SIMA Board of Director’s ‘Bachelor’ Rose Ceremony

"We were proud to once again host the annual SIMA (Snow and Ice Management Association) Symposium this year in Montreal. One of our highlights of this year was a fun video we created for the awards ceremony..."

Here at The Marketing Butler we count down the days until the SIMA (Snow and Ice Management Association) Annual Symposium rolls around. It’s undoubtedly one of our favourite events to take part in, and this year’s event was all the more special as it took place on Canadian soil in Montreal, QC. The show gives us an opportunity to catch up with old friends, meet new ones, and, of course, get involved in one heck of a production!

The show is focused on helping the thousands of snow professionals in attendance from across North America to grow their snow business. A major part of the event is the B2B trade show, which takes place over two days. The trade show is packed with industry-focused suppliers, equipment manufacturers, material suppliers and professionals, and offers a great opportunity to network for attendees. It’s undoubtedly a “do not miss” event for anyone in the snow business!

Our team has been involved in producing and hosting the show since the 15th annual event, and, in particular, we always look forward to introducing the SIMA Board of Directors to the audience at the show’s Awards Night. The team at SIMA always backs us by giving us 100% creative freedom with the theme and execution of the board video, giving us the opportunity to raise some laughs, create unforgettable memories and entertain the attendees.

This year, with one of the Board’s directors, Bob Smart, leaving his position, we decided to produce a SIMA-themed spin on popular TV show The Bachelor – and the results were hilarious! The Board put in some great performances, and gave us the chance to try something a little different for the audience, who loved it! You can watch the full video above to see for yourself.

Once again, we had an amazing time at the SIMA Annual Symposium, and we look forward to many more years of involvement with the incredible Board, organizers and attendees! Thanks to everyone involved for allowing us to make awesome happen, and here’s to next year’s Symposium which takes place in Cleveland, OH!
